• HW1: due Monday, September 5: Read Chapter 1, sections 1.1 through 1.3. Do problems 1.1.3, 1.1.4, 1.1.5, 1.1.14, 1.1.16
• HW2: (changed!) due Thursday, September 8, 5PM in the math office. Read Chapter 1, section 1.4. Do problems 1.2.7, 1.2.9, 1.2.10, 1.3.5 (remember long division of polynomials ??), 1.3.6: parts b and e, 1.3.7: parts b and e, 1.3.11
• HW3: due Monday, September 12: Read Chapter 1, section 1.5, Chapter 2, section 2.1. Do Project 1, section 1.3, page 30-31, problems 1.4.2 and 1.4.3.

• HW8: due Thursday, October 6. NOTE CHANGE IN DUE DATE! Problems 3.2.7, 3.3.2, 3.3.3. Review any new vocabulary from the course, including: phase plane, time plot, orbit, nullcline, equilibrium, iteration, interaction term, mass action. Turn in corrections to past homework/quiz.
