Research Interests:

Molecular Spectroscopy: Gas-phase spectroscopy of molecular ions and transition metal compounds via electron impact and laser excitation of free-jet expansions.

Atmospheric Chemistry:  Kinetics and thermodynamics of radical reactions in the atmosphere, particularly HO2 and RO2 reactions.  {Collaboration with Stan Sander (JPL)and Mitchio Okumura (Caltech)}  (Powerpoint presentation of HO2/Acetone study)
