Movies I have seen recently
In February 2005, I started using an online movie rental service, and I have been watching a lot more movies than I could before. Below is a list of movies I have watched recently. I like to watch movies old and new, high-brow and fun and light, so the list below will be quite a mix...

2009:

May 2009: Iris (2001)
April 2009: Shrek 2 (2004), Cries and Whispers (1972), Hoop Dreams (D- 1994), Princess Mononoke (1997), The Terminal (2004)
March 2009: finally finished STAR TREK - Deep Space Nine, and managed to see Scenes from a Marriage (1973), Little Miss Sunshine (2006)
February 2009: slowed down on STAR TREK - Deep Space Nine because we had our hands full with new life :)
January 2009: continuing the STAR TREK - Deep Space Nine marathon

2008:

December 2008: just started marathoning through STAR TREK - Deep Space Nine, but still managed to see Gattaca (1997)
November 2008: got hooked on The X-Files, but still managed to see Religilous (2008)
October 2008: everyone knows that October is the most dangerous month for Exploding Head Syndrome, so of course I could not watch any movies...
September 2008: general overwhelm factor was over the roof (teaching an overload!), so did not get any movie watching done...
August 2008: trying to figure out where the summer went...
July 2008: Freedom Writers (2007), The Business of Being Born (D- 2007)
June 2008: Persona (1967), Color Purple (1985)
May 2008: Through a Glass Darkly (1961), Spellbound (D- 2002)

2007:

December 2007: continuing with the Star Trek addiction, but still managed to see Kebab Connection (2005) and the Golden Compass (2007)
November 2007: got hooked on Star Trek - Next Generation so no movies...
October 2007: life took over and general overwhelm factor went up immensely but still managed to see Happiness (1998)
September 2007: still watching too many Doctor Who episodes but also managed to see Seven Chances (1925)
August 2007: have been watching too many Doctor Who episodes but also managed to see The Simpsons Movie (2007)
