- Read "Preparing Oral Presentations" -- Ch. 13 in your textbook, A Short Guide to Writing About Biology, 5th ed., by Jan Pechenik
- Look at the video "Talking Science: The Elusive Art of the Science Talk" from the USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies and the Annenberg School for Communication. This 20-min VHS is on reserve in Seeley Mudd Library, where a VHS viewer is also available..
