• Look at the video "Talking Science: The Elusive Art of the Science Talk" from the USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies and the Annenberg School for Communication. This 20-min VHS is on reserve in Seeley Mudd Library, where a VHS viewer is also available..
  
  
• Planning to use PowerPoint? PowerPoint has become the norm for presentations, but it is not required. Although PowerPoint can be very useful, there are some disadvantages and some pitfalls in using it. Evaluating Presentations:

• Download the Guidelines for Evaluating Presentations [MS Word].
  
  
• Download the Presentation Evaluation Form [MS Word]. On this form indicate at least one aspect of the presentation that was especially good and at least one that could be improved. E-mail the completed form as an attachment to the instructor by 5:00 p.m. of the day following the presentation.
