Instructions for reaction pieces

For each week's reading, write a one-page (no more than 350 word) reaction paper that discusses an issue raised in one of the readings that you find compelling, provocative, disturbing, confusing, or simply interesting. Try to be as specific as possible about what aspect of the reading you are writing about.

This exercise has two purposes. The first is to get you thinking about the readings before class. The second is to demonstrate that you have done the readings. It is graded on a credit/no-credit basis.
