Using a database of primary sources, locate a document addressing the African American experience of the Reconstruction, Redemption, or early Jim Crow eras. Write up your findings in a max one page document in which you provide the following information:

• A full citation of the original source ( for citation format see: Citing a primary source from a website but be sure to add an accessed date in the form "(accessed mm/dd/yyyy)").
• A statement about the provenance of the document. That is, to the best of your knowledge describe what sort of document it is, where, when and by whom it was created, and what sort of collection of it was found in
• A 50-150 word summary of the content of the document.
