Presentation Assignment

Due: in Class: Thursday 9/24

A 12-15 minute in-class presentation by each group on the findings of your research on your board.

In your presentation, you must describe, interpret and contextualize the document. Like your papers the presentation must describe the evidence, how you find it, and what it means.

Some Suggestions:

• Each person in the group must present in turn.
• A 3 minute presentation, if written out and read, is equivalent to about 300-500 words--that is less than the length of a newspaper opinion piece.
• Instead of reading, try to work from an outline and speak to your audience.
• Practice and revise your presentation beforehand.
