Q Center UConn's Quantitative Learning Center provides free, drop-in tutoring for a number of mathematics, chemistry, statistics, and physics classes. College Study Hints that include how to read faster, how to take notes in class, how to study with computers, how to prepare for exams, and how sleeping improves academic success.
Study skills are sometimes overlooked, and brushing up on those skills can really help. I suggest reading this article which includes how to find a good place to study and how to take good notes in class.
